The beauty of art is in the eye of the beholder. My lion exhibits gorgeous hues of gold, yellow, browns, and blues to frame his grandeur and dominance. As I look, I see the strength and patience of a leader with great wisdom protecting the prophetic scrolls of things to come. Yet, one of my colleagues sees this piece as the last roar.... before the Lion of Juda opens the scrolls from Revelation 5. The King is never weary from life's battles and as rugged as they may seem to us, He stands victorious forever. Forever in Him we are free. As Christ yielded to being crucified, we yield to His victory and choose a humble lifestyle that in Him we live and move and have our being.
